While this is a great TEMPORARY fix, we don't recommend leaving a fence like this indefinitely!
Here's a general guideline, if the stake has had time to weather (turn gray) then it's time to just fix the fence.
New special feature or problem? That's for you to decide!
Make sure you check on your sprinklers at least once a month to make sure no heads have busted or pipes are leaking or water is spraying where it shouldn't. While a system on a timer is nice, you really should NOT "set it and forget it"!!
We don't run across them often, but here is a dog poop box in a yard! Kinda like a compost pile, but for dogs!
Not quite sure how we feel about these, what do you think?
Comment if it's a great idea, you think it's genius or if it's terrible, you would never use something so ridiculous!
As promised yesterday, here's a great lesson in repairing a garden hose. Enjoy!
After a long winter of being put away, you might get out your hose this summer only to discover some small issues. If your hose looks like this, don't worry and don't throw it away! We will show you how to fix a hose (without using duct tape) in tomorrow's video!
For this video we took about an hour's worth of work and showed it in about 8 minutes. I wish projects could be sped up like that in real life!
Take a look and let us know your thoughts, suggestions, and future video requests in the comments below!
Not from today, but another day that was just as rainy. Notice the sprinkler running in the background?!? If you have your sprinkler system set on a schedule, please make sure to turn it off for the next few days to allow everything to dry out!
Similar to Facebook, only useful
This is a great place to find interesting pictures, quick little notes, and funny memes. Just like posts you would expect to find on social media. Only these posts are searchable by categories, making this page significantly more useful for reference during a project. Or, just if you don't want to get sucked into the never-ending time-sucking vacuum of the Book of Face. Whichever.
Of course, you can get updates by following us on Facebook too. If you are "in" to that sort of thing.
